Manual Machinist Apprentice

Precision Mold Making • Injection Molding • Blow Molding
Conteco Manufacturing is growing, and we’re looking for a Machinist Apprentice to join our tooling and mold-making team. This is a great opportunity to learn from senior machinists and mold makers with decades of experience while working on high-precision components used in injection and blow molding.

Role Summary

As a Manual Machinist Apprentice at Conteco, you will play a hands-on role in supporting our mold-making and precision manufacturing operations. You’ll work directly with senior toolmakers and machinists, learning the fundamentals of manual milling, turning, drilling, surface grinding, and precision finishing  the core skills that form the foundation of high-quality mold making.

This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and passionate about craftsmanship. You will gain exposure to the full lifecycle of mold production, from machining raw steel blocks to fitting, polishing, and assembling critical tooling components used in injection and blow molding.

Senior Mold Maker

Conteco Manufacturing is growing, and we’re looking for a Senior Mold Maker / Machinist to join our tooling and mold-making team. This is a great opportunity to learn from senior machinists and mold makers with decades of experience while working on high-precision components used in injection and blow molding.

Role Summary

The Senior Machinist / Mold Maker will be responsible for building, maintaining, and repairing injection molds using manual machining, EDM, hand-fitting, and precision tooling techniques. The Senior Machinist provides both advanced machining capability and mold-building expertise, ensuring mold construction, maintenance, and repair. This role combines machining, EDM operations, bench fitting, and mold. This is a hands-on, craftsmanship-focused position ideal for a toolmaker who takes pride in precision work, problem-solving, and mentoring junior technicians in a traditional toolroom environment. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Engineering & Production to deliver reliable tooling, optimize cycle time and quality, and support continuous improvement.
